Do you love to fish? Greenup County has multiple locations to fish.

Visit the Little Sandy Boat Ramp, on US 23 just outside the City of Greenup, and launch your boat into the Little Sandy River with quick access to the Ohio River. Launch your boat from the ramp and fish or fish from the boat dock.

Visit Greenbo Lake State Resort Park and launch your boat in Greenbo Lake. The lake holds large bluegill, crappie, catfish, and trout. A Kentucky Fishing License is required. Do you need a fishing pole? Stop by the marina and ask about the fishing loaner program where overnight guests can check out FREE equipment.
Boating

Visit Greenbo Lake State Resort Park and launch your boat in Greenbo Lake. They offer rentals for pontoons, boats, canoes and motorboats. The lake is idle only and no-wake speeds. If you prefer, fish from the pier or along the lake.


Kayaking
Do you love to kayak? Greenup County has multiple locations to drop your kayak in water.

Visit Greenbo Lake State Resort Park and launch your kayak in Greenbo Lake. They offer rentals for pontoons, boats, canoes and motorboats. The lake is idle only and no-wake speeds.

Do you need to rent a kayak? Visit Dragonfly Outdoor Adventures and they offer rentals. ​ They are located a little over 2-miles up the Little Sandy River from the Ohio River.
